NEAL ADAMS DEAD AT 80

Comics’ greatest artist has died after a months-long battle with sepsis…

Neal Adams, whose stunning, photorealistic art style revolutionized comics and how we see the world’s greatest heroes and villains, has died at the age of 80, his daughter, Kris Adams Stone, has confirmed.

Adams battled sepsis over the last several months and died in the early morning hours of April 28, his family said.

The Hollywood Reporter has an obituary that you can read here.

Meanwhile, we will have many tributes over the next several days and will be updating this post with links, which you can find below. In addition, we were deeply fortunate to have Neal has a guest columnist on many occasions and links to those pieces can also be found below.

My deepest sympathies to the Adams family, who have been wonderful guardians of a legacy that has endured for decades — and will endure for the decades to come.
