An ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION of the greatest TV show in the history of mankind…
Welcome to BATMAN ’66 WEEK!
Searching through the cavernous 13th Dimension vaults deep within our subterranean headquarters, I’ve figured out that this is the sixth BATMAN ’66 WEEK we’ve done, following two we did in 2014, plus 2016, 2018 and 2019, not to mention 2016’s BATMAN ’66 MOVIE WEEKEND.
Now, being completely transparent, this wasn’t the plan for this year. I was saving the next BATMAN ’66 WEEK for January 2026 — the show’s 60th (!) anniversary. No, I just planned to publish a feature or two on Jan. 12, the show’s premiere date, and move on.
Thing is, I ended up with some great contributions from pals like Paul Kupperberg, Jim Beard and Walt Grogan. Plus, I have a story of my own. We also have a ton from said vaults that haven’t seen the light of day in years. So here we are, celebrating the show’s 59th anniversary with coverage from Sunday through Friday.
Awkward, sure, but as Walt said to me “There is never enough Batman ’66!”
So dig these links, which will be updated every day through Friday!

BATMAN ‘66 is (I believe) the common thread that ties us all to this site on a daily basis.

It may very well be. In terms of specifics, I’ve published more about that and Neal Adams than anything, I do believe.

Speaking of Adams, I’m sure getting excited for release of the large artist’s edition later this year. And, hopefully Aparo gets announced soon too. $$$ just burning a hole in the ol’ pocket.

RE: There is never enough Batman ’66!”
Yep. This was true for me last weekend. I had an Amazon Prime movie credit ($6! Woo-hoo!), and I decided to rent and watch the Batman 1966 movie which I haven’t seen in forever. It was great! Truly one of the very best Batman movies ever made.
