The Amazing Spider-Man #1000, Marvel. Public Service Announcement: Retailers last week were told that a lot of the gajillion covers were being allocated. In other words, your shop may not have every one that you want. Don’t yell at the store owner; it’s not their fault. Since I see variants as small pieces of art, I have four covers on order. Fingers crossed all of them show up:

As for the cover of X-Men United – that’s Gorgon from the Inhumans, friends of the Fantastic Four. Some you may have heard of are Medusa and Crystal – both of whom have served as members of the Fantastic Four.

Hello, why did you go for the Absolute over the Bronze Age Batman Omni or dc finest? Not a criticism just trying to determine if I should get this. Love the art while knowing stories may not always be the best. Thanks for the insight!

I probably should have jumped on that Dark Shadows facsimile. Hopefully I can find it at retail price and not marked up like so many online sellers enjoy doing.

Is Dark Shadows the first Gold Key facsimile? That would be an interesting new development if Hermes or anyone else is planning to release more.
