Batman & Robin: Year One — Dynamic Duos, DC. The next maxiseries from Mark Waid and Chris Samnee brings Catwoman into the picture, purple dress and all. I’m gobsmacked DC didn’t make a virgin variant of this cover — and a foil one, to boot! I suppose there’s always a second printing to think about. Click here for a SNEAK PEEK!

The Crisis Companion, TwoMorrows. Kevin Miller’s ridiculously comprehensive exploration of Crisis on Infinite Earths, and the decades that led up to it. Click here for a SNEAK PEEK.

The Amazing Spider-Man #100 Facsimile Edition, Marvel. One of the greatest comics covers of all time, all fresh and new as a Facsimile. Cannot wait to see it in foil! Story’s a classic, too — right Six Arms?

Laugh #166 Facsimile Edition, Archie. This ish has been on my wish list ever since Archie began publishing Facsimile Editions — so, “Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!”

Marvel Two-in-One Epic Collection: Project Pegasus, Marvel. Scott is off again this week, this time galloping across the Final Frontier. I’m sure he’d pick this.

JSA: Year One, DC. Jeff Lemire and Gavin Guidry’s entertaining reimagining of the Justice Society’s early days gets collected in both trade paperback and hardcover. Just a plain good read.

Adventure Comics #247 Facsimile Edition, DC. The long-awaited FE of the Legion’s first appearance is finally here. Kicking up that hype for the new Legion series, which starts in September.

Back Issue #169, TwoMorrows. The “Support Staff” issue. I’m actually most looking forward to the feature on Bronze Age letterhacks. I never did have a letter published. I guess I’m making up for lost time with this here website.
