Batman/Superman: World’s Finest 2026 Annual #1, DC. Because YOU demanded it! Pa Kent and Alfred team up to rescue Superman and Batman! Actually, I don’t think anyone demanded it but it’s still fun.
And I LOVE this Rahzzah variant. It might be my favorite Kent farm image of all time. Just look at Batman’s body language and expression. Bruce should visit more often:

DC’s Hawk-Girl Summer #1, DC. I know this summer-fun one-shot has Hawkgirl in the title, but the Batfam variant by Lesley Leirix Li is the party I want to join. Even Damian in his green swim goggles is having a good time!

DC Finest: Green Lantern — Hard-Traveling Heroes, DC. It’s been reprinted 1,000,006 times — and rightly so, of course — but there was still no way they weren’t going to do a DC Finest edition.

Aquaman by Geoff Johns: Book One, DC. These were superb Aqua-stories. I read Aquaman for years thanks to the kickstart Johns gave the Swift and Powerful Monarch of the Ocean.

Predator vs. Planet of the Apes #1, Marvel. How is this supposed to last five issues?

Ultraman, Marvel. A 60th anniversary omnibus collecting not just Marvel’s comics from recent years, but Harvey’s from the ’90s.

What If…? Spider-Man #1, Marvel. What if Kraven survived his last hunt — written by J.M. DeMatteis! “Survived” is an interesting way to put it.

Your comment about the newest DC Finest release — that the material’s “been reprinted 1,000,006 times” — describes my thoughts about most of the Finest titles scheduled for the rest of year. While the series in its first year provided us with some very welcome books featuring classic content that had seen no or little reprinting, this upcoming round seems to cover material that has been mined so often that it is readily available in multiple formats or already on many collectors’ shelves. Looking forward to seeing what announcements might be coming soon for 2027 and hoping DC might be getting back on track to including more little reprinted pre-Crisis material in its Finest mix.
