OK, yes, I’ve been going on and on about Julian Totino Tedesco’s fab Action Comics variant covers. I’m just waiting for there to be enough for DC to publish a portfolio. (Or maybe there are enough already?)
Anyway, DC’s solicitations, released Friday, actually feature a quartet of lovely Action covers — two of which capture classic Superman styling (by Tedesco and Steve Rude) and two with a more modern spin (by Dale Eaglesham and Francesco Francavilla).

I like the Tedesco and Rude covers here, because to me they truly embody who the Superman character is. I’d love to see Tedesco and Rude team up to do a special variant cover or a pinup.
