Remember this iconic scene, with Kirsten Durst and Tobey Maguire from the first Spider-Man movie? Apparently it was a difficult scene to film because the water kept making it hard for Maguire to breathe.
With this being THE MANY LOVES OF PETER PARKER WEEK, I decided to draw my own version of the scene. I left out the rain, to see if things would go better.
Oh, well.
By the way, did you know that Nightcrawler did the ol’ kiss-’em-while-upside-down thing to Amanda Sefton in Marvel Team-Up #89? It hit the stands in late 1979, 23 years before the Spider-Man movie.
