DC’s solicitations are out Friday and this time around there’s a new opportunity to grab a full-on reprint of 1961’s seismic The Flash #123 — the birth of the DC Multiverse, featuring the first meeting between Barry Allen and Jay Garrick.

— Your mind is not playing tricks on you: DC released a Flash #123 Facsimile Edition in 2020, so if you missed it then, now’s your chance.
— Standard Price Comparison: And it’s a good thing, too. Facsimile Editions, which feature all the original ads, letters and whatnot, have become collectibles in their own right. An unslabbed, near-mint copy of the 2020 edition recently sold on eBay for $25. (Oh, and a mid-grade, unslabbed original recently went for about $730.)
