Julian Totino Tedesco’s back with a glorious vengeance…

Artist Julian Totino Tedesco in 2021-22 did a run of variant covers for Action Comics that were utterly spectacular — painterly takes that evoked the Golden Age Superman.
Now, he’s back with a variant for the DC Black Label miniseries Superman: The Stranger, by Wes Craig and colorist Jason Wordie, which chronicles the Man of Tomorrow’s beginnings in a so-called real-life version of the 1930s.
Dig this wonderful, Art Deco-inspired piece for January’s Issue #5:

This is nothing less than gorgeous.
The issue is due Jan. 6, 2027.
