EXCLUSIVE: Jessica Drew gets the spotlight in September…
On Saturday, we brought you the news that Marvel will be releasing three Facsimile Editions in September — first-rate reprints that include the original ads, letter columns and whatnot for about four or five bucks apiece.
Two of them are directly connected to the launch of Strikeforce, a new ongoing series starring some of the publisher’s toughest characters:
As we pointed out, one of the Facsimile Editions will be Marvel Spotlight #12, featuring the debut of Son of Satan’s solo feature. (Click here for all the details.)
The other one? Spider-Woman #1 — the 1978 premiere issue of Jessica Drew’s first self-titled series, by Marv Wolfman and Carmine Infantino, with a cover by Joe Sinnott.
