ROOFTOP NOIR: The Classic BATMAN and ROBIN Pin-Up as Cinematic Gold

DESPOP TUESDAYS!

Last week, we showed another of Des’ takes on Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson’s famous 1966 Batman and Robin rooftop pin-up. Basically, it’s the image as if it were done in the 1980s. This on top of Des’ own Silver Age version.

Now, Des’ whole schtick is making comics look like animation or film. He has a great feel for the approach and so he couldn’t resist turning his versions of the rooftop image into noirish tableaux:

Like I said last week, I’d love it if Des did the image with other eras. I suppose, like you, I could commission it!
