Artist Michael Golden turns 71 — he was born Oct. 1, 1955 — and for this year’s 13 COVERS birthday salute, we’re leaning hard into the Halloween season with various Punisher books from the early ’90s.

Once Golden stopped signing his art it no longer stood out to me, although working on Punisher covers was also an excellent way to escape my notice.

I’m not a fan of the character either. But 1 cover I had to have was “The Punisher: War Zone #24”. Huge fan of Bucky O’Hare!
