JUGGERNAUT’s Premiere in X-MEN #12 to Get Facsimile Edition Treatment

EXCLUSIVE: A Silver Age classic that ties into a new series…

Juggernaut is getting his first solo series in May — courtesy of Fabian Nicieza and Ron Garney — and Marvel is pulling out the stops with a full-on reprint of the beefy baddie’s first appearance in 1965’s X-Men #12.

The X-Men #12 Facsimile Edition is jam-packed too. You get the origins of Professor X and the Juggernaut, as well as the formidable creative team of Stan Lee, Jack Kirby… and Alex Toth! Wowza! (Inks by Vince Colletta.)

Dig the solicitation info, to be official released by Marvel soon:

X-MEN #12 FACSIMILE EDITION
Written by STAN LEE
Penciled by JACK KIRBY & ALEX TOTH
Cover by JACK KIRBY
The uncanny origin of Professor X…and the unstoppable menace of the Juggernaut! Cain Marko is one of the X-Men’s most formidable foes — and even, over the years, an occasional ally — but what is his connection to Charles Xavier? And what is the secret of his incredible power? The X-Mansion has some of the strongest fortifications and deadliest defenses around, but even they are barely slowing the Juggernaut down as he advances implacably towards his goal: revenge! As Professor X reveals his hidden past and his greatest shame, the teenage mutants known as the X-Men gird for battle…but can they find a way to stop the unstoppable? It’s one of the all-time great Marvel comic books, boldly re-presented in its original form, ads and all! Reprinting X-MEN (1963) #12.
