Dig the Final Versions of the WONDER WOMAN #750 Variants

Now with era-appropriate logos!

Wonder Woman #750 is out Jan. 22, and you know what that means: Besides an anthology of stories featuring the likes of Greg Rucka, Gail Simone, Scott Snyder and Colleen Doran — and the start of a new DCU timeline that anoints the Amazing Amazon as the first superhero — there are variants aplenty!

You’ve got the requisite retailer-exclusive variants and many of those are mighty cool, like Alex Ross’…

and Stanley “Artgerm” Lau’s:

But I’m always partial to the official DC decade-by-decade tribute covers, like we saw with Action Comics #1000 (click here) and Detective Comics #1000 (click here) — and which we’ll see for the Robin, Joker and Catwoman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectaculars this spring. (Click here.)

So check out the Wonder Woman #750 decade covers — complete with era-appropriate trade dress — by some of the top talents in comics and available at shops across the land this Wednesday:

1940s by Joshua Middleton

1950s by Jenny Frison

1960s by J. Scott Campbell

1970s by Olivier Coipel

1980s by George Perez

1990s by Brian Bolland

2000s by Adam Hughes

2010s by Jim Lee and Scott Williams

Main cover by Joelle Jones

There will be a blank variant as well.

Great Hera, these are lovely!

  1. I’ve always loved the cover of WONDER WOMAN #1 (with Diana horseback charging through enemy lines) and the interpretations of it we’ve seen to date, so I’m surprised that Alex Ross’ take on it leaves me a bit “meh.” Stanley “Artgerm” Lau’s cover though…WOW! That takes me back to the WW I grew up with.
