BATMAN ’66: Whose baby are you? Everyone’s! — UPDATED 4/27/24: Our friend, the late Dr. Stewart Berkowitz’s birthday was this week (he was born April 26, 1959). He was the “Alfred” who owned one of the greatest Batman ’66 collections ever. In his honor, this weekend we are presenting highlights from that collection, which we first featured in 2018. Click here for much more. — Dan — Y’know, we never did find out whose baby Batgirl was. But we do know who owns one of her original costumes: an anonymous collector dubbed “Alfred,” whose incredible Batman ’66 collection of authentic outfits and props we’ve been showing off here at 13th Dimension the last couple of months. So far, we’ve brought you UP-CLOSE LOOKS at Alfred’s Robin, Riddler and Catwoman costumes, as well as the original Penguin submarine prop from the 1966 movie. All while Alfred considers turning this into a traveling roadshow. (Click here for much more on all that. Believe me, you want to.) Now it’s time to turn our attention to the Yvonne Craig’s Dominoed Daredoll. The outfit is 100 percent screen-worn: Everything but the belt is from the TV show, while the belt itself is from the famed ’70s television public-service announcement promoting equal pay for women.
