With Bill Morrison and Jim Beard’s terrific fashion pieces on Monday, you might be wondering about Supergirl’s hairstyle — or rather her original alter ego Linda Lee’s.
Just prior to Supergirl getting adopted by the Danvers family, DC Comics in 1960 ran a write-in poll asking readers to pick a new ’do for pigtail-sporting Linda. Here’s the page from Action Comics #273, which came out in December…
