The six-part JLU crossover We Are Yesterday begins here, featuring a time-tossed Legion of Doom and promises of other groovy chronal disruptions and Easter eggs. I, for one, am glad to see Clayton Henry here as the artist, with his clean, sharp, readable style. Hope he sticks around for awhile. — Fantastic Four #4 Facsimile Edition, Marvel. Namor’s classic return from the Golden Age! A cornerstone of the Marvel Age. — All-Star Superman Deluxe Edition, DC. If you’ve never read it, dig this new edition, timed to April 18’s Superman Day but really James Gunn’s Superman film, which is believed to borrow heavily from Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s modern classic. And rightly so. (This might not be put out until April 18, so check with your comics shop.) — Summer of Superman Special #1, DC. The launching point for DC’s summer (and beyond) Supercomics, featuring talent aplenty. — Batman #615 Facsimile Edition, DC. Batman and Nightwing, together again! — Catwoman #75, DC. Hey, it is CATWOMAN WEEK, y’know. Gotta feature this fab Frank Cho variant! — Scott Tipton, contributor-at-large, 13th Dimension Legion of Super-Heroes: Five Years Later Omnibus Vol. 1, DC. This landmark chunk of post-Crisis Legion history from Keith Giffen, Tom & Mary Bierbaum and Al Gordon is one of my few blind spots in ’80s DC Comics. Time to rectify that. (A new edition.) — Black Widow Modern Era Epic Collection: The Itsy-Bitsy Spider, Marvel.
