ADAM WEST: A Birthday Celebration

A series of interviews and tributes that celebrate TV’s great Caped Crusader — who would have been 90…

It’s still weird that Adam West is gone, isn’t it? He died more than a year ago and yet he still looms so large among Batman fans. It’ll be like that forever, I suppose — and that’s a wonderful thing.

West was born Sept. 19, 1928, and died June 9, 2017. He would have been 90 years old.

This year, for our annual birthday celebration, we’ve got a couple of new features for you. One is an EXCLUSIVE UP-CLOSE LOOK at an original Batman costume worn by West. You can click here to check it out — and you won’t be sorry.

It’s our latest feature on the so-called Alfred Collection — the most amazing assortment of original Batman ’66 outfits and props that you are ever likely to see. (Do yourself a favor and click here for more on the collection itself.)

We’ve also got an EXCLUSIVE tribute by the two writers who are still feeding West lines, in a fashion: Jeff Parker and Michael Moreci, the scripters on Archie Comics and DC’s Archie Meets Batman ’66. (Click here. You’ll dig it.)

In addition, of course, we’ve got a selection of some of our most popular Adam West features, which hold up as well today as when they were written.

So raise a Bat-toast to Adam West — the brightest Batman:
