Why is it National Umbrella Day, anyway? According to nationaldaycalendar.com: “While the origins of the utilitarian holiday remain a mystery, the world has been celebrating it since at least 2004. However, another celebration on the calendar promotes opening umbrellas indoors. The entire month of March recognizes the umbrella, too!”

Batman #190 is one of my favorite covers. A few years ago, I was fortunate enough to commission Joe Giella – the inker on the original cover – to do a re-creation for me. It hangs on my office wall…I’m very lucky to own it.
