13 COVERS: Kirby’s KAMANDI

Day 3 of our Jack Kirby anniversary celebration!

I bought this. Worth every penny.

I bought this. Worth every penny. Read my review here.

Jack Kirby was born Aug. 28, 1917. He would have been 98.

We enjoy doing our 13 COVERS salutes here at 13th Dimension, but there was no way that one Kirby retrospective was gonna cut it.

Solution? The King gets a whole week — 13 COVERS every day for seven days! Each day we’re featuring a specific title, character or concept.

(Here’s our usual caveat: These are subjective lists and not meant to be definitive. This is not a ranking of any kind. This is pretty much what I dig and you may feel very differently. So, rather than beef about a cover you don’t see, instead join in the fun and share your own choices in the comments section or in whatever social-media thread you saw this.)
