13 BLACK CAT COVERS to Make You Purr

It’s the other Feline Fatale…

As I noted here, I’ve been leaning a lot more toward DC than Marvel lately but it’s not because I grew up a DC kid. It’s because there’s more going on with DC right now — including Friday’s 80th anniversary of Batman #1, which gave us Catwoman and the Joker.

So I wanted to make this something of a Marvel day — with tributes to Black Cat and the Green Goblin.

Get it?

  1. It’s clear that Al Milgrom does some truly nice work associated with Black Cat! I was disappointed to see that you didn’t feature any (or all!) of Mike Mayhew’s recent Black Cat Variant Covers! To say they are all purr-fect is definitely an understatement!

  2. I still remember what a gut-punch Peter Parker 87 was to a young Spider-Man fan. When Pete removed his mask and Black Cat begged him to put it back on, it was a pretty heart-breaking moment to a young nerd. Ever since then, I’ve never really been able to forgive or warm-up to Black Cat.
