The RETRO MARVEL BLACK LIGHT POSTERS 2021 CALENDAR Appears to Be Cancelled

Well, this is disappointing…

Earlier this year, we brought you the news that Marvel was planning on re-releasing 13 of its cult-favorite Bronze Age black-light posters as a 2021 calendar. (Click here to check out what was planned.)

Sadly, however, it looks like your lava lamp will remain lonely next year because theĀ Retro Marvel Black Light Posters 2021 Calendar — featuring 16 x 20 removable prints — has evidently been cancelled.

There’s been no official announcement as far as I can tell, but the calendar is no longer available for pre-order at any reputable online site that I can find and my sources inside the industry haven’t been forthcoming with any information.

Some sites that still list the calendar point out that final order cutoff has passed, meaning it’s likely been cancelled. Further, the calendar was due for release in July and there’s been nary a whisper. (We never did get a list of the prints that would be included.)

I hope I’m wrong and I hope that these beauties by The Third Eye will see the black light of day once again in the future.

In the meantime: Bummer.

But, hey, these things happen. And if you still want to get your groovy retro Marvel on, check this out.
