DC Comics on Tuesday announced the details for the previously announced Superman/Spider-Man #1 — which is coming in March — including creative teams, variant covers, publication date and more.

WHAT: Earlier this year, DC Comics and Marvel Comics announced the continuation of their historic crossover collaboration into 2026, beginning in January with the 50th anniversary of the first DC/Marvel crossover, Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man.
Today, DC revealed the creative teams and first look at cover art for its upcoming one-shot comic book Superman/Spider-Man #1.
RETAIL UPDATE: DC’s Superman/Spider-Man #1 will publish on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, and will retail for $7.99 US (main) and $8.99 US (card stock variants). To find a comic shop near you and preorder your copy of DC’s Superman/Spider-Man #1, visit DC’s comic shop locator.

STORY DETAILS: When journalists Clark Kent and Peter Parker find themselves chasing the same story, the conspiracy they uncover could change the world — especially if Brainiac and Doctor Octopus have anything to say about it. (And we bet they do!) Good thing our intrepid newshounds are secretly Superman and the amazing Spider-Man. To bring this clash of reporters‑turned‑heroes to life, Mark Waid and Jorge Jiménez join forces to headline DC’s Superman/Spider-Man #1 with an unforgettable lead story.

BONUS INFORMATION: These new stories in DC’s Superman/Spider-Man #1 follow DC’s Treasury Edition reprints celebrating the original crossover: Treasury Edition 50th Anniversary of Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man #1 (January 7, 2026) and DC and Marvel Present: Superman and Spider-Man Treasury Edition #1 (February 4, 2026). Together, the 2026 reprints and new crossover comics showcase the enduring power of Superman and Spider-Man as cultural icons, bridging decades of storytelling and fan enthusiasm.
DC’s 2025 crossover with Marvel, Batman/Deadpool #1, published on November 19, and Marvel’s 2025 crossover with DC, Deadpool/Batman #1, published on September 17, are available now at your local comic book shop. Marvel’s Deadpool/Batman #1 has gone back to multiple printings, and DC’s Batman/Deadpool #1 will have a new print run with new covers available on January 28, 2026.
Further details on creative teams, storylines, and variant covers for DC’s Superman/Spider-Man #1 in March, Marvel’s Spider-Man/Superman #1 in April, and more, will be revealed by DC Comics and Marvel Comics in the coming months.

I got the first one thanks to getting on Lunar Catalog two days before cutoff. I never saw a solicit for the second one. So will wait until my LCS gets it in stock. Othewise will order online.

I was going to say something about the cover with Luthor and the Goblin then realized most of these covers have absolutely nothing to do with the story. I mostly avoid stories built around variants. Might not be fair but for me it’s a turn-off much like anything that says “crisis” or “world changing event”.
