SPIDER-MAN’s Greatest Sequence — as Seen in Its Original STEVE DITKO Art

The Amazing Spider-Man #33 turns 60 this week…

On Tuesday, for the 60th anniversary of The Amazing Spider-Man #33 — it was released Nov. 11, 1965 — we presented an INSIDE LOOK at the greatest sequence in Spidey’s history. We even showed off a couple of pages of original art.

As a bonus, we present to you all of the original art pages from that scene, courtesy of Scott Dunbier of Act 4, which in 2026 is publishing The Amazing Spider-Man by Steve Ditko Artist’s Edition.

Dig this, including the book’s cover and its direct market-only variant:

Main cover. Fitting, no?

The 176-page book — which replicates Ditko’s original art at its “twice up” size — is due June 2026. It will measure a massive 15″ x 22″.

  1. Years ago I ran across an animated version where the water moved. That was on an old computer. Does anyone know if it’s still online on a website?
