Riddler takes Riverdale — and Reggie?
Archie Meets Batman ’66 #1 came out this week and if you haven’t picked it up, I recommend it.
It’s perfect summer reading — light-hearted and fun with winks to longtime fans of Adam West’s show and classic Riverdale shenanigans.
Up next is Issue #2, of course, in August (8/15 to be precise). Monday (7/23) is final-order cutoff at comics shops, so the folks at Archie Comics and DC have released an unlettered preview featuring the Prince of Puzzlers’ arrival in everyone’s favorite suburb.
The 6-issue Archie Meets Batman ’66 is written by Jeff Parker and Michael Moreci, with art by Dan Parent, J. Bone and Kelly Fitzpatrick.
Here’s your groovy SNEAK PEEK:

Main cover by Mike and Laura Allred

Variant by Rick Burchett and Rosario “Tito” Pena

Variant by Wilfredo Torres and Kelly Fitzpatrick

Variant by Michael Walsh

Seems like a disguise (note the white-mustachio’ed postman on the previous page); he appears to be henching for the Riddler.

Just wondering if those are supposed to be 1960s-fied versions of Cheryl and Kevin at the bottom of the second interior page posted.
