POWER UP! Dig This Upcoming History of POWER RECORDS

A book we’ve always wanted…

Jason Young is at it again. The guy who brought you two of my fave books from the last couple years — The Wonderful Artwork of Wax Wrappers and the Ben Cooper history An Old School Halloween — is back with another Oldtimes Blue Ribbon Digest offering: Power Trip — a history of the seminal Bronze Age record brand Power Records.

Dig this promo Jason cooked up:

A few thoughts:

— If all goes according to plan, Power Trip should be available as early as April. Keep an eye on 13th Dimension for updates but you can also check out Oldtimes Blue Ribbon Digest’s site.

— Figure that the book will be in the $20-$30 ballpark, just like the previous pubs.

— If you haven’t picked up those awesome paperbacks yet, click here. You’ll be glad you did.

  1. I loved Power Records as a kid in the 70’s. I still love the great work they did. No one does stuff like that anymore.
