DC Finest: Batman — The Demon Lives Again! is scheduled for later this year…

We’re expecting a lot more DC Finest news to come soon, but some new titles are already trickling out. The latest is a downright barnburner: DC Finest: Batman — The Demon Lives Again!

Buncha thoughts:

— The 592-page paperback is due Sept. 8, 2026. It lists for $39.99.

— To be sure, the original Ra’s al Ghul Saga has been reprinted many times in many ways since its original publication in the early 1970s. But that’s not the case for many of the unrelated stories included in this edition.

— This is developing into a pretty groovy year for Denny O’Neil/Neal Adams Bat-enthusiasts. Also on the horizon are the much anticipated Batman: The Bronze Age Omnibus Vol. 1, Batman by Neal Adams: The Absolute Edition and the Batman #244 Facsimile Edition, which includes the story… “The Demon Lives Again!”

— So, yeah, there will be overlap, but not everyone is into every format, and these are some of the greatest Batman stories ever published, so BRING IT!
