Love that purple sky!

I’ve gotten so used to seeing Mike Allred draw the Adam West Batman over the years that it was a special surprise when I saw his upcoming variant cover for the new Batman: The Audio Adventures #1, due Sept. 27.

I mean, check this out:

That’s just about the platonic ideal for classic, creature-of-the-night Batman, is it not? And dig Laura Allred’s note-perfect color palette.
