A few thoughts:

— I love this. Marvel did a great run of retro T-shirt variants years back and this follows in the same kitschy vein. (They’ve also done No-Prize covers.)

— That Spider-Man mask is dead-on Ben Cooper and I love that Thor has his bright red name, just like the original. Captain America, Doctor Doom, Iron Man, the Thing and the Hulk are pretty close, too.

— Though I do wish Iron Man said “IRON MAN” on it.

  1. We really need Marvel and Neca to work out the Ben Cooper licensing. Imagine Spidey, Thor, Hulk, Daredevil, Captain America, Iron Man and others in two releases.

  2. Awesome! And you can destroy your comic just like the dioramas on the back of old DC treasuries! 😉
