MARVEL to Release More Than 1,000 Stickers With Images Dating Back to 1941

Love stickers. Want more.

Whenever a publisher comes up with a really groovy sticker collection, we’re all over it. The right collection scratches all the right Silver and Bronze Age itches.

Well, there’s another collection coming from Marvel this fall and this one is a big one: the Marvel Avengers: Multiverse of Stickers, a hardcover that features more than 1,000 reusable stickers with images that go back to the early Golden Age.

Dig this official description from an Amazon listing:

MARVEL AVENGERS: MULTIVERSE OF STICKERS

This keepsake sticker book showcases the iconic art of Marvel heroes and villains, with more than 1,000 reusable full-color stickers to create your own scenes.

This vast collection of more than 1,000 stickers has been curated from the pages of Marvel comic books dating back to Captain America’s first appearance in 1941. In chronological order of their debut, each member of the Avengers is highlighted through iconic poses, badges, catchphrases, and memorable covers and comic panels on full-color reusable stickers that you can use to decorate notebooks, water bottles, and stationery, or to create your own scenes. Between each character section are pages dedicated to group art, logos, and iconic villains such as Loki and Thanos. The reverse side of each sticker page showcases a mirror image of the art so that once the stickers are used, you have a keepsake book that can be enjoyed again and again.

A few thoughts:

— Check out some sample pages:

— The 240-page hardcover is due Oct. 3, 2023, and lists for $29.99. It’s being published by Thunder Bay Press.

— As cool as this looks, I am still crossing my fingers that DK or Abrams or Insight Editions or Thunder Bay Press will re-release those classic — and scarce — 1970s Superhero Stick-Ons produced by Our Way Studios:
