Hey, it’s December and we’re already talking March solicitations!
Well, on the Facsimile Edition front, Marvel’s got three on the way — continuing their Secret Wars and Amazing Spider-Man yearlong events, plus a second release of Wolverine #1 (1988), by Chris Claremont and John Buscema.

A few thoughts:
— If you’re just getting caught up, 2024 is the 40th anniversary of both Secret Wars and Spider-Man’s black suit, so Marvel is reprinting SW each month all year, along with the first 12 black-suit issues of ASM. It’s also Wolverine’s 50th anniversary, so I expect a lot more Wolverine Facsimile Editions this year. We’ve already seen a couple announced. (This Wolverine FE was also released in 2020.)
— Secret Wars #3 is due March 6, Wolverine #1 is due March 13 and The Amazing Spider-Man #254 is due March 27.
— Obligatory Price Comparisons: An unslabbed, NM/MT copy of Secret Wars #3 recently sold on eBay for about $50; an unslabbed, NM Wolverine #1 went for about $250 (a 2020 Facsimile Edition drew $20); an unslabbed, NM Amazing Spider-Man #254 garnered $22.
