A few thoughts:

— To bring you up to speed, Marvel in 2024 is reprinting all 12 issues of 1984’s Secret Wars as monthly Facsimile Editions. The House of Ideas is also reprinting the first 12 issues of Amazing Spider-Man featuring the controversial-then/beloved-now black suit. Read more about this here.

— Prices and on-sale dates haven’t been released yet, but figure on the standard editions being in the $5 range.

— Obligatory Price Comparisons: An unslabbed, high-grade copy of an original Uncanny X-Men #268 recently sold on eBay for $100; a similarly graded Amazing Spider-Man #253 went for $34; and a Secret Wars #2 went for about $19.
