A few thoughts:

— I’m rather surprised to find that the Doctor Strange collection hasn’t been released before. This is foundational stuff.

— The first two books above do not have released covers yet, so I punted and picked images from each collection to represent.

— Marvel also has a bunch of re-releases scheduled, so click here to check those out.

  1. It baffles me why DC don’t publish similar collection’s. I’m sure they would be extremely popular. Love The invaders,Liberty Legion and Black Goliath,so looking forward to this one

  2. I wish Marvel would scan from the original comics for these reprint collections, it would be so much better.

  3. I’m surprised to see the Shang Chi story included in the Two-in-One Epic, I thought Marvel lost the rights to reprint any Master of Kung Fu stuff again.

    • Marvel owns the character of Shang Chi. It’s his father Fu Manchu and the other characters created by Sax Rohmer who they don’t own. So presumably they can still reprint any older Master of Kung Fu stories that don’t have appearances by those non-Marvel characters.

I notice Marvel Two-In-One #21 isn’t included, since Marvel no longer has the rights to publish Doc Savage. It’s unfortunate they couldn’t come to some sort of arrangement with Condé Nast so there wouldn’t be a gap in this collection. They’ll probably have the same problem with MTIO #99, which co-starred Rom Spaceknight.

      • Right, I did know that but I think I assumed they couldn’t reprint any of the original MOKF stuff now, but I suppose Fu Manchu must not appear in this Two in One story, so that makes it okay. Marvel removed all of the original MOKF issues from Marvel Unlimited and their website last year and ended the trade collections too. Major bummer, as I had never made it all the way through the series. Wish I’d sprung for those omnibuses when they were more affordable.
