Bronze Age puzzles and brainteasers in the Mighty Marvel Manner…

Abrams ComicArts this month is re-releasing the Marvel Big Book of Fun and Games, a compendium of the Bronze Age puzzle mag that was a really groovy way to spend a rainy afternoon or long trip to Grandma’s.
The 144-page trade paperback lists for $14.99.
Dig this:

The comic was the brain child of Canadian puzzle maven and comics artist Owen McCarron and ran 13 issues (!) from 1979 to 1980.
The book is due next week — October 7!

Love the og looking artwork.
There isn’t really a connection but this kind of reminds me of the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game book line.

Beware… the art is what you remember, but Marvel has gone in and edited all of the questions, to make it more friendly for a modern audience (yechh). For instance, the clue used to reference “Movie star Natalie _______”, and now it’s “Movie star Elijah ____________”… so they have totally borked the nostalgia 80’s experience, in my opinion.
