X marks the spot…

Marvel released its March 2021 solicitations Wednesday and right away two collections jumped out at me — both modern-day treasury editions.

Check out the Giant-Size X-Men: Tribute to Wein & Cockrum — including the complete original issue — and Wolverine: Black, White & Blood:

A few thoughts:

— The Wolverine book is scheduled for April 14, 2021. It’s a little slimmer than the original Bronze Age treasuries but the height is the same.

— The Giant-Size X-Men volume is slated for July 14, 2021. It’s not labeled a treasury edition but rather a “Gallery Edition” hardcover. Yet it’s slightly wider than the Wolverine collection and just as tall, so I’m counting it. (Click here for an INSIDE LOOK at the original tribute issue.)
