Mark Waid and Alex Ross’ landmark Kingdom Come celebrated its 30th anniversary this year and, as we’ve reported, DC will be doing a run of homage variant covers in October. More than that, however, the publisher will release the Kingdom Come #4 Facsimile Edition in December.

— I know I harp on this, but I don’t understand when publishers only reprint part of a story as a Facsimile Edition. I would have thought we’d get a full run, like DC is doing with Watchmen and has with others. I mean, it’s only four issues. It’s clearly a choice, though.

— Obligatory Price Comparison: Kingdom Come is usually found in full sets, but an unslabbed, high-grade original recently sold on eBay for $10.
