Like spring’s 1966 BATMAN PINUPALOOZA, this is a completely art-driven feature, with the original, often humorous, stylings of Kerry Callen, Des Taylor, Dakota Alexander, Franco, Chris Franklin and Walt Grogan — who, as usual, did that dandy banner up there.
Where’s Bill Morrison, you ask? Well, he’s on hiatus for another week. Bad timing, sure, but we’ve got a fun reprint for you Monday that fits the theme — and pinch hitting with a new piece of his own is acclaimed artist and editor Mark Chiarello.
