FRANCO’S FREE-FOR-ALL FRIDAYS!

By FRANCO

Life gets pretty busy sometimes. I’ve spoken in this column before about some of the things it can throw at you that might send you in a different direction, or down a path where you need to take some time for family or yourself. I had to pause this FREE FOR ALL FRIDAYS thing for a while.

Then something happened within that. While taking that time away I found that drawing (which has always helped me) found me and helped again. I started creating digital pieces for this event or that birthday, when Dan Greenfield (who runs this site) would reach out to us and tell us what was coming up.

I was having fun experimenting with the digital way of drawing that I hadn’t before. Making new pieces just for 13th Dimension. Before you know it, I had a bunch of drawings I had made. In my opinion, some good. Some not so, but all with fun. And then I realized something unexpected. I could do something with these.

With New York Comic Con this week, I’ll have something new with me at Artist Alley (Table A04). I’ve taken a bunch of drawings I’ve done for this site, and a few others from other things, and created a new art book: Scenes From the 13th Dimension and Beyond!

I’ll have a limited amount. And another, even more limited amount with a sketch cover option. After that, maybe, anything left over on my website.

And I have Dan to thank for that, but also, especially, all of you who come up and tell me how much you enjoy reading these posts and/or leaving comments. I wanted you to know how much it means to me.

Thanks for reading!
