All New Collectors’ Edition #C-58 Facsimile Edition, DC. Superman vs. Shazam! A Bronze Age classic treasury by Gerry Conway, Rich Buckler and Dick Giordano. DC is kicking serious tush with these. There’s also a foil-cover version. (Click here for a peek inside.)

Metamorpho: The Element Man #6, DC. Ah, so now we’ll get more of Prince Ra-Man, whom we saw briefly in the first ish. Still the best comic book I’m reading right now.

Justice League Unlimited #7, DC. “We Are Yesterday” has been a kick, mashing up Bronze Age DC with modern DC. Side note: I still say the Joker has no business being on a team. Like, ever. But that’s just me being a killjoy.

The X-Men #135 Facsimile Edition, Marvel. Witness the birth of a god!

Harley Quinn #51, DC. I haven’t been keeping up with this run, but this cover by Elizabeth Torque really caught my eye.

Giant-Size Marvel Omnibus, Marvel. I don’t buy many of these because the size really isn’t conducive to reading, but this one is tempting.

Dan adds: There are three different covers for this one. This is my fave. By John Romita, natch.

Marvel Masterworks: The Avengers Vol. 25, Marvel. This was a real sweet spot for ’80s Avengers, with scripts by Roger Stern and art from John Buscema.
