DESPOP TUESDAYS!

I love Des’ team-ups that generally can only happen in our imagination. Except, in this case, it’s plausible.
How much would you love a Blade-Buffy the Vampire Slayer team-up?

See, both are owned by Disney, but while anything on screen is an exceptionally long shot, this is where comics do a great job of scratching a particular itch. Thing is, even though both characters have the same corporate parent, Marvel has Blade in its arsenal (where he originated in the ’70s, natch) while the Buffy comics license currently stands with Dynamite.
That said, Dynamite has a history of intercompany crossovers — and so does Marvel — so who knows?
The new Buffy series has to get off the ground first, of course, but it never hurts to plant seeds.

His client list includes DC Comics, La Perla, FHM, Cosmopolitan, Universal Music, ITV Studios America and many more. When he’s not working on his own properties or churning out commissions, Des spends his spare time… working some more, hating Arsenal and raising his two baby daughters, Scarlett and Leia-May.

I kept joking when Blood Hunt was coming out that Marvel was going to introduce Buffy Summers into the Marvel Universe during that title. I’d be all for that Buffy/Blade team-up!
