  1. I loved the World’s Finest mini-series (I like it a lot better than the current WF series, but that’s just me). The solicitation mentions “this Deluxe Edition presents the full miniseries with restored detail.” I wonder if that means the artwork has been remastered (like on the recent Judas Contract Deluxe Edition).

    • That would be wonderful if WF was remastered. I will get this new printing but still hope that this will be someday released as an Absolute Edition slipcase hardcover. Wouldn’t mind that for Matt Wagner’s Trinity either.

  2. Instead of repeating the Golden Age (GA) editions for BATMAN, I wish they would finish the Silver Age (SA). If they were to offer the complete Bronze Age (BA) I might stay with the omnibus format for consistency on the bookshelf. I say that even when the prices of the omnibus editions are getting crazy. I saw the latest Superman Triangle 3rd edition is listed around $170’ish. That’s crazy. I never paid the listed full price but at that level even if it drops 50% you are talking ~$85. My income has not kept up with publishing prices. My collection building days may be done. Otherwise, I will be looking at the lesser cost ones.

It is nice to “The Dude” get some attention. I love his World Finest take. He’s still producing new work too which is amazing and great for us the fans. His latest: https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/steve-rude-the-dude/battle-for-thuneworld-artist-edition-hardcover

I’m interested in the Teen Titans. But, “The New Teen Titans (Second Series) #1-6; The New Titans #50-61 and 66-67;”….why does it jump from #6 to #50 on the second series title? Never mind the gap between 61 to 66. Not sure my OCD can handle that incompleteness of the run.

  3. Wha?! I just got a used copy of that World’s Finest book on Amazon! Luckily, it’s not too late to send it back and buy the new one when it comes out then! Even better, this new printing with have the classic DC logo and not the ugly DC swirl one from years ago!
