Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #50 is out this week and among its variant covers is this one by Frank Quitely — which certainly strikes me as an homage to Mego Batman:
Check out that chest logo! Check out that removable cowl — with short ears and without any front shading!
No, it’s not exact, but it is close enough, so I’m going with it — unless Quitely or DC tell me I’m wrong. Ball’s in their court.
