A sneak peek at what’s to come later this year from IDW

In honor of Joe Kubert’s birthdate — more on that here — we present a special advance look at Volume 2 of the Tarzan of the Apes Artist’s Edition, collecting more Bronze Age DC work.

This is also the third installment of our ongoing look at IDW’s archives series, including the Artist’s Editions and imprints like Yoe Books and the Library of American Comics.

In Part 1, I talked with IDW prez Greg Goldstein about the Artist’s Editions, with a special eye on what’s to come in the series. If you haven’t read it yet, click here.

In Part 2, we revealed the EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK at Herb Trimpe’s Incredible Hulk Artist’s Edition. (Click here.)

  1. GREAT article, Dan! Kubert’s Tarzan is THE definitive version of the character–in ANY medium, not just comics! If this volume is as great as the first Tarzan AE, it’s gonna be GORGEOUS!!!
