A BIRTHDAY salute…
The late, great Eartha Kitt was born 96 years ago on Jan. 17, 1927. Her credits are legion but among comics fans, she’s most beloved for her turn as Catwoman in the third season of the Batman TV show.
This year’s birthday tribute is a simple one — a gorgeous portrait by artist Brian Stelfreeze that I saw online nearly a year ago and put aside for just this occasion.

Man, I could stare at this for hours — and I’d swear that if you listen really closely, you can hear her seductive purr.
