EARTH-TWO ROBIN, Classic SUPERGIRL — and MORE — Among New McFARLANE SUPER POWERS Wave

Pre-orders go live next week…

Tip of the cowl to our pal Chris Franklin, who just sent over McFarlane Toys’ announcement that the first of the final four waves of its Super Powers line will feature classic Supergirl, graying Hal Jordan, Bronze Age Power Girl, Cyborg Superman, the Eradicator, and the big kicker — Earth-Two Robin!

Check this out:

Like all four of the final waves, these are Entertainment Earth exclusives. They will go up for pre-order Tuesday, May 26. Here’s the link (and no, I don’t get kickbacks).

Naturally, I’m all about the Earth-Two Robin, which caught me by surprise. I would love it if they paired him with an original version in one of the remaining waves, but that’s me being greedy.

After that, I’m down for Supergirl and Power Girl, who looks an awful lot like Jason “ToyOtter” Geyer’s DC Comics Super Powers variant cover design. (I wonder if we’ll get the Star-Spangled Kid to give us the Super Squad!)

Graying Hal Jordan and the Supermen are passes for me, just based on personal interest. I’m sure they’ll be really popular with others, though.

Boy, I’ve never wished for a three-day weekend to end so quickly.

  1. Glad to pass it along. My friend and fellow podcaster Henry J. Bernstein actually alerted me to a post made about it by Stephen Skinner in the Kenner Super Powers Collectors Facebook group.

  2. Power Girl needs to be bustier than the other women…sorry, but that’s part of her canon…

  3. We also need an Earth-2 (aka Bronze Age) Huntress to go along with that Star-Spangled Kid.

My one complaint about Power Girl is that her hair looks more like the immediate post-Crisis look than actual Bronze Age. (And why is it Bronze Age and not Earth-2?)

  4. I was hopeful that it would be Kara’s 70’s/80’s puffy sleeve Mego doll version, also yes for 70’s Huntress

  5. The Earth Two Robin ought to have a chase with the grey & black Batman-like costume with the bat logo with the ®️in the middle.

  6. I really hate that you can’t buy these individually. All I legit want is the Supergirl one and I’m not dishing out $80 just for the figure I want.
