Dig This Unused JACK KIRBY X-MEN Cover — Now In Brilliant Color

A different spin on Ka-Zar’s first Silver Age appearance…

Back in 2023, we ran a piece by our pal Chris Ryall that featured 13 UNPUBLISHED JACK KIRBY MARVEL COVERS. Click here to check it out because it’s still groovy, obviously.

The lineup featured 1965’s The X-Men #10, showing off both the rejected and published versions of Ka-Zar’s Silver Age debut:

Personally, I think the right call was made. Still, it’d be really cool to see the first one in full-color glory, right? Right.

  1. Yeah, that rejected cover is not at all up to Jack’s usual standards. Static figures. Perspective seems off. Out of place dinosaur. Must have been having a bad day
