It’s the cat’s meow!
Batman ’89 #5 is due Jan. 25, and while we’ve seen Joe Quinones’ superb main cover, most folks haven’t seen Adam Hughes’ variant.
Until now.
Dig this Catwoman-focused illo by one comics’ very best:
I like the playfulness of this one. Batman’s all Batmannish and whatnot but Selina, as always, looks like she’s ready to cause some trouble — for good or bad.
Anyway, no need to overanalyze it. Just a cool cover by a terrific artist.
