— I still prefer Zan and Jayna to Marvin and Wonder Dog. Wendy’s OK. I like her.

  1. “Super Friends” was Hanna-Barbera and DC’s golden child, from the early 1970s to the mid-1980s.

  2. I’m very excited to pick this up. It will be a perfect springboard for my grandson’s studies of all-things comics. But, why did they feel the need to swap Superman’s face on the original artwork? Alex’s version was perfect the way it was drawn.

    • I believe at the time they wanted Curt Swan’s Superman to be their iconic version of him. They also replaced the Kirby face when Jack used him during his New Gods Opus.

  3. I’m surprised Jayna never dated Beast Boy. They have so much in common. They’re both animal lovers. If you know what I mean.

  4. I hope that price is a typo in the solicit. It was $49.99 in the original listing and I don’t see any additional material listed in this one.

  5. I own the black and white soft cover version of this that was released a while back. It was released by showcase in 2014 but it only has issues 1-24
