Our friends at Aw Yeah Comics are having a splash today in suburban NYC …
New York Comic Con is next week but some comic folk are getting a head start today (10/3) just up the road, in Harrison, Westchester County.
I live nearby and may drop by myself.
Here’s the schedule of guests, including co-owners Franco and Art Baltazar: (Though we wish partners Mark Waid and Christy Blanch were there too!)
Art Baltazar & Franco: 10 am to 6 pm
Chris Giarrusso, Gregg Schigiel, and Jacob Chabot: 10 am to 3 pm
Jerry Ordway: 1pm to 3pm
James Tynion IV, Michael Dialynas, and Ilias Kyriazis: 3 pm to 6 pm
Say the owners: “We will have break times for each guest throughout the day. We also have a face painter for the kids coming in at 2 pm. They work for cash tips, so please prepare accordingly.”
