EXCLUSIVE: With WandaVision in the offing…
Marvel’s got two related Facsimile Editions headed your way this November — and they star everyone’s favorite romantically involved sorceress and android: the Scarlet Witch and the Vision.
Which issues, pray tell? The X-Men #4 and The Avengers #57, featuring each character’s first appearances.
And it’s all because WandaVision premieres on Disney+ the following month. Makes sense, right?
Dig these official solicitations — due to be released next week by Marvel:

A few thoughts:
— I’m really glad that Marvel’s adding new Facsimile Editions to the line. With the coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc on the industry, other publishers don’t appear to be following suit. At least not for now.
— Both of these are stories that have been reprinted many times over, but I always feel the urge to point out that Facsimile Editions are a richer experience since they include letters, ads, back-up features and whatnot. It’s like a time capsule that costs a few bucks.
— Standard Price Comparisons: An unslabbed, VF- copy of Avengers #57 recently sold on EBay for $420. An unslabbed reader copy of X-Men #4 recently sold for $709. The Facsimile Editions are $3.99 each.
